- Therapeutic Massage Therapy (Masseurs)
- Ambulance Services that are not authorized or already included in the contract with the provider
- Appliances, devices, and procedures not scientifically proven or appropriate
- Back rests and chair seats
- Bandages and dressings (except medicated dressings)
- Beds, mattresses, linen savers, pillows, and overlay
Waiting Periods
Depending on pre-existing or existing conditions, the following might apply when you register for medical cover with the Bonitas BonFit Plan:- ✅ A 3-month general waiting period in respect of all benefits.
- ✅ A 12-month exclusion in respect of a pre-existing condition.
- ✅ Finally, a late-joiner contribution penalty will apply.

Our Verdict on the Bonitas BonFit Plan
💙 Bonitas BonFit is one of Bonitas’ Savings options that provide members with a set amount that they can use for certain out-of-hospital expenses. Compared with other plans, BonFit has higher annual limits but covers fewer things. For instance, there is no cover for advanced dentistry. 💙 However, despite this, the BonFit option is cheaper than any other network. Still, it offers some of the most comprehensive covers for only R2,698 per month. It is still a very good medical aid to consider.
